BOXCAR LULLABIES

DEBUT EP RELEASED MAY 7, 2015

ABOUT

BIO

Rayannah's voice rises in layers, creating soundscapes from scratch. The bilingual artist bends noise into music by running voice, breath, synth and percussion through loop pedals. Underscored by intricate beat-making, her visceral lyrics in French and English rise above it all, offering a glimpse into her experiences both dark and sweet.

Having released her debut EP Boxcar Lullabies in 2015, Rayannah is now unveiling music from her forthcoming album, beginning with her first single, En attendant demain.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Rayannah has taken her electro-soul across Canada, to the West Coast of the US, and to Europe. Whether opening for Esperanza Spalding or Coeur de Pirate, fronting her band or performing alone, Rayannah shares something raw, intimate, and fleeting all at once.

Rayannah can perform in solo, duo, trio or quartet configuration, with up to 75 minutes of music.
